This is a three-year research project exploring the relationship between social action, discipleship and church growth in the Church of England.

It involves qualitative research in more than 60 parishes across England, covering a wide diversity of church traditions, contexts and sizes. And later there will be quantitative, survey-based research to identify key trends and patterns at national level.

The research will provide the Church of England with evidence and a better understanding of the impact of the work being done in parishes across the country. And, in turn, that will lead to new initiatives and programmes being developed for the future.
