New Building for the Saints Project
At the end of the year, Together for Change (our venture in Coventry and Warwickshire) signed the lease for an empty building in Nuneaton town centre, which will now house the Saints Project. Together for Change are leading the project in partnership with a collection of Nuneaton Churches and Christian Organisations who are passionate about bringing community transformation to the heart of Nuneaton.

First opened in 1898, the building has had a variety of uses over the years, with some parts remaining virtually untouched for decades. This ex-nightclub and Conservative club boasts an incredible hall and open plan cafe/bar area, and work will be started primarily on the latter, with work on the main hall expected to be completed in the second phase of the project's initiation.
An incredible amount of work has gone into transforming the building ready for opening tomorrow, 8th January, which we see the launch the first phase of the project - named 'Enterprise and Equip' - which seeks to tackle issues of unemployment and lack of education. Later phases will address physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and bringing people together through the creative arts.
We can't wait to breathe new life into this dormant historical building and transform it into a thriving hub of community activity.
