One of a pair of two online sessions this January exploring Mental Health + the Church from the Together Network, this session is designed to inform, inspire and equip you and your church around mental health.
Joined by Corin Pilling of Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries, we will be exploring a model for building safer communities for those of us who experience mental health challenges. And Members of the Together Network will be sharing various mental health projects they are working on around the country.
Together, we will explore mental health in the current context of pandemic recovery, a model for understanding mental health challenges, and how a faith perspective offers an opportunity for building a community of mutual support and participation. We'll hear all about The Sanctuary Course: a free, film- based resource developed with the stories of lived experience at the centre, and underpinned by expert input.
Join us to learn how to create churches where stigma is tackled, support is appropriately available, and participation is at the heart.
